Redpath Waterfront Festival (RWF) / TALL SHIPS 1812 Tour
The success of the Redpath Waterfront Festival 2010, Water’s Edge Festivals and Events (WEFE) led to the creation of a Not-For-Profit corporation created and co-founded by Harmony Marketing’s Lea Parrell and her colleague Krista Slack, President of Krista Slack + Aylett.
WEFE has a mandate to make RWF a one-of-a-kind festival that promotes Toronto locally, nationally and internationally as a waterfront destination. RWF returned in 2012 as an annual event that will continue to expand on-land and water programming.
The TALL SHIPS will continue to be a key component, participating in the festival every 3 years beginning in 2013.
Harmony Marketing is proud to have secured the largest Celebrate Ontario Blockbuster Grant ever awarded. This funding will support the Pan Provincial TALL SHIPS 1812 Tour. 15 ports throughout Ontario will host the TALL SHIPS next summer to commemorate the War of 1812.
THE CITY OF TORONTO
Harmony Marketing has been chosen as the Marketing Agency of record for the City’s War of 1812 Bicentennial Commemorations.
Harmony Marketing will be responsible for marketing the City’s events and programming that commemorate the bicentennial for the War of 1812 until June 2013.
Fashion Cares

On September 9, 2012, Fashion Cares will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the spectacular event “A Night of Glitter & Light” featuring “Elton John and Friends.”
Harmony Marketing will support Fashion Cares through Sponsorship Marketing. Co-chaired by Michael King and David Furnish, the event will raise significant funds for ACT (Aids Committee of Toronto) and Elton John Aids Foundation.
Canadian Association for Community Living
In 2009, Harmony Marketing created a national awareness campaign for CACL. Working with advertising agency Rain 43, the "NO EXCUSE" campaign was launched.
The television PSAs were recognized by the BVS Monitoring Systems as being one of the highest aired PSAs of all time.
Harmony Marketing is now engaged with the CACL, People First Canada, Best Buddies, the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, Special Olympics Canada and motionball to bring the U.S. campaign "Spread The Word to End The Word" to Canada. This national awareness campaign has been created to promote the elimination of the “R Word” from people's vocabulary.
"Spread the Word" will focus on educating the public about how hurtful and intolerable the use of the “R Word” is and to identify it universally as a derogatory term.
Hilliard Gordon Communications Partnerships

We are also pleased to be able to announce that Harmony Marketing – partnered with Hilliard Gordon Communications – has recently been engaged to deliver two new national awareness programs.
INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION ON AGING
On behalf of the International Federation on Aging, Harmony Marketing will participate in the creation, development and
delivery of the new ENDAGEISM Campaign. The objectives of the campaign are to increase public awareness and sensitivity toward issues arising because of our aging population. While fostering intergenerational respect, the campaign will also serve as a catalyst for a positive change in perceptions by both the public and private sectors. With the assistance of our corporate and public sector sponsors, this aim will be accomplished by celebrating individuals, communities and businesses who demonstrate respect for older people. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to create a groundswell of changing attitudes that will, in turn, make Canada an international leader in respecting and valuing the contributions of older people to society.
CANADIAN SKIN CANCER FOUNDATION (CSCF)
Harmony Marketing has partnered with Hilliard Gordon Communications to design and implement a national campaign that creates enhanced awareness of the harmful effects of sun tanning without protection as well as promoting awareness of the dangers of sun tanning beds.
We envision a campaign that does not discourage people from being in the sun, but rather emphasizes the need to do so safely.
